Gold & Jewels
In the evolving world of watch styles, you'll find that different colors fade in and out—and back in again. Rose gold has been a strong trend now for several years, and our industry experts said it continues to be popular.
"Rose gold is a very strong trend still, and it continues," Keenan said. "This speaks to the ever-changing styles of watches. For instance, a woman in my grandmother's time would only wear white. In my mother's time, it was yellow. And when my daughter got married it was platinum, silver or white gold again. Now it seems to be a market for everything, from rose gold to yellow gold, white metal such as stainless steel and two-tone."
Something for everyone, indeed.
Zanone agreed that gold—both rose gold and yellow gold—is still trending well in fashion. "In the luxury brands, you still see a lot of steel," he said. "When you see a new collection in fashion, you'll see steel, rose gold, yellow gold and two-tone."
The Tourneau Ladies 32-millimeter gold-plated case and bracelet Diamond watch features a sophisticated style with a mother-of-pearl dial and diamond hour markers. It features Swiss quartz movement, a date window at 3 o'clock and scratch-resistance sapphire crystal. Bonus features from Tourneau include a 3-year warranty and free lifetime battery replacement.
Diamonds also continue to be strong, Zanone said. "For Movado, almost every ladies' offering we have features diamonds in some way."
Citizen premiered Ceramic timepieces for ladies in optic white with 32 sparkling diamonds. The Citizen Eco-Drive Ceramic Chronograph features strong and lightweight ceramic accents on the bezel and bracelet, paired with stainless steel and an oversized case. Additional features include a 1-second chronograph that measures up to 60 minutes, 12/24 hour time, water resistance to 100 meters. In addition, the watch is fueled by Citizen Eco-Drive light-powered technology.
"Women seem to gravitate toward the fashion looks," Dougherty said, "…watches adorned with diamonds or crystals on an oversized case. They also seem to like rose gold as of late. And most recently, the tri-tone watch (stainless steel, rose gold and yellow gold) seems to be very popular."
You get your choice with Seiko's gorgeous collection of ladies watches featuring a polished stainless steel case and bracelet in either silver, gold or rose gold. Each watch features 72 glittering Swarovski crystals on the dial, as well as a date calendar and water resistance to 100 meters.
